Guest Choreographer Dennis Caspary
visited RMSDPA in December 2009

Dennis Caspary taught choreography at RMSDPA December 5-6, 2009. Dennis has appeared on television, film, & in theater, working with such entertainers as Olivia Newton John, Paula Abdul, The Beach Boys, and on projects with the director of High School Musical, and Kenny Ortega. Some of his television credits include Full House, Head of the Class, and Coach. His commercial credits include Coke, Pepsi, Levi's, Sears, McDonalds and many more. Dennis has been the guest choreographer for the Laker Girls, The Clipper Girls, and has won acclaim worldwide for his unique choreography. He launched his own annual Jazz/Hip-Hop intensive, 2 Days in OC, which has been an overwhelming success.
RMSDPA students had fun learning from Dennis this season. Thanks Dennis!

Sam Renzetti and Gina Starbuck

Sam Renzetti

 

Sam Renzetti taught choreography at RMSDPA November 9th – 11th, 2009. Sam Renzetti, of Xtreme Dance, believes that it is important “…to stay humble and always prepare its members with a pre-professional solid foundation of what Hip-Hop/Jazz dancing truly is." Xtreme Dance, under Sam’s direction, is one of the top elite Hip Hop/Jazz dance troupes in the Midwest. RMSDPA was pleased to welcome Sam back to our studio this season!!!

 

Gina Starbuck

 

Gina Starbuck taught Choreography at RMSDPA November 12 – 14, 2009.  She recently finished a long run with the LA company of the Broadway hit Wicked. Starbuck's unique sense of style and fashion earned her a full page spread in one of Japan's most prestigious magazines, Woofin' Girl.  She has worked with many artist and her skills as a teacher and choreographer have taken her around the world.  She is on faculty at many prestigious studios and dance conventions including The Edge Performing Arts Center and Millenium Dance Complex. She has appeared in a variety of television shows, films, and commercials including Visa - working with Emmy Award winning choreographer, Mia Michaels. In 2007, she created and founded Art4Life in support of the American Cancer Society. Thank you, Gina, for teaching RMSDPA students your amazing choreography!!
