CLASSES

FOR BEGINNERS THROUGH ADVANCED!

FOOTHILLS CLASSES  designed for the dancer age 3 – adult. Training for dancers only interested in non-performance oriented classes.

MOUNTAIN LEVEL CLASSES designed for the dancer age 3 – adult. Training in tap, jazz, hip hop, ballet, lyrical, turns and leaps, acting, vocal and tumbling. Students perform in the annual Festival of Dance held in June of each season and have the option to audition for our annual Christmas Story held in December.

PERFORMANCE TEAM CLASSES designed for the dancer age 3 – 19 who would like to participate in local and national competitions.  Dancers train in all styles of dance, acting and vocal and audition for their placement on the ROCKY PERFORMANCE TEAMS!

EXCELLENCE CLASSES designed for the serious dancer age 10 – adult.  Training in tap, jazz, hip hop, ballet, lyrical, turns and leaps, acting, vocal and tumbling. Students train in select classes or the full program and are eligible to audition for the professional companies THE SILHOUETTES™  and THE DAMSELS.  They are not required to participate in the Festival of Dance held each year in June. They are eligible to audition for the annual Christmas Story held in December. Placement in Excellence classes is by the Director’s approval only.

THE DAMSELS designed for the dancer age 12 – adult interested in performing in a non-competitive company. Dancers are selected by audition only and required to train at least one day per week at ROCKY in The Damsels program.

THE SILHOUETTES™  SHADOW PROGRAM for the dancer age 6 – 20. Learn to be one of THE SILHOUETTES™, runner’s up on America’s Got Talent season 6.  The training program prepares the dancer for castings in local, national and worldwide professional performances.  Students must be enrolled in at least one technique class at ROCKY in order to be eligible for this SHADOW training program.  For more information about this company, please visit THE SILHOUETTES™ tab on the rmsdance.com website.
